2 Foxes vs 20 Geese. A strategy board game / puzzle. Foxes and Geese has a history stretching back thousands of years. It is related to the ancient Scandinavian game called halatafl of which there are multiple variations played around the world and throughout history.

This game is supported by iAds. If you would prefer an ad-free experience, please search the App Store and purchase

How To Play
----------------
The foxes always move first.

The geese attempt to completely occupy the squares marked in blue. The foxes try to eat enough geese to prevent this.

Foxes can move in any direction. They can also eat a goose by jumping over it. If a jump move is available, it must make it.

Geese can only move sideways and forward. Additionally, a goose can never return to a spot it has previously occupied.

The foxes win if they eat 12 geese or if the geese have no legal moves.

The geese win if they occupy the 9 blue spots or if they trap the foxes so they can’t move.

In single player mode, the difficulty level will automatically increase or decrease as you win or lose. You can also manually adjust the difficulty level and then lock it into place to prevent it from automatically adjusting.
